A giant egg-sack for creepy giant insects or some kind of alien plant/inmovile creature.
Poli number is high (41k) due to Subsurf activated on main body since its intended to be made into a 2d model, erasing that modifier turns its into a 6k lowpoly asset
Animated (some kind of heart beating animation):
1-30 Inflates
31-45 deflate
All textures are cc0 obtained from Open Game Art

I'd like to see this in Open Dungeons as well. Maybe as a trap.
Gas trap maybe? i can see it working like one, going off into a gas cloud and regenerating over time or a one time explosion trap. What is your suggetion? i personally prefer the mechanical ones but im out of ideas lately.
I thought it could just burst and release a swarm of spiders or facehuggers. Gas trap sounds nice, too. It could also be an acid slime bomb.
This can be used by comercial or non comercial projects without problems, please dont get confused by the collection on the side (i did a bit)
Looks good, will probably use this in Ancient Beast part of a combat location or eventually as a creature dwelling.
The animation should have probably been done using a shape key, basically you add a new key for current position, then a new one which you'll turn to value 1 and then change as you please. After that, it's super easy to animate between the two, you basically animate slider from 0 to 1 and repeat that ping-pong style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdSOhiDqmj8
Wondering if the OpenDungeons engine supports shape key animation after all xD
With this blender addon we made for Ancient Beast you can even export sprite sheets or gif animations for extra eye-candy :) https://github.com/Fweeb/blender_spritify
