May I make some requests? Another type of fruit will allow harder game play, another powerup, something like canned lightning. Also some blockers, ice (temporary) and stone (permanent). And may be a cursor that can work with the overall theme?
As we speak I am working on a game inspired by Puzzlequest and Ascension the Deckbuilding game. I might have to try these graphics as a texturepack at some point :) The game will have mod support also so maybe a vegetable mod will be good to try the API!
