It looks awesome and i wante to take the bonfire and craft it into the orb... sadly the way its layered its not compatiple with gimp, normally it should be possible to open this type of file with gimp.
Thanks for letting me know about this. It looks like the incompatabilty comes from layer styles and the masking technique I use. I'll see about updating the entire pack to support gimp when I get a chance, but for now I updated bonfire and orb for you.

Well i think to edit it its better to use photoshop anyways but if one wants just extract some layers gimp would do completely fine.
I took the orb and the bonfire and created an orb set:
