An UI idea for Ancient Domains of Mystery that didn't make the cut. It does have it's downsides, but still should work just fine for prototyping. Best not let it go to waste :) so I added a couple of things and released it into the wild!

Technical details:

- .psd with a smart object inside, so Photoshop will probably be required.

EDIT: Added that pesky smart object as a separate .psd. Hope this helps!

- Exactly what you see in the picture (so no button up/down/hover states yet!). The smart object is roughly 3x larger than the end result, to make editing and scaling easier.

As always I will be keeping an eye on the comments, so if any elements get in the way, are difficult to use/put together or you feel something should be added - just post about it :) I'll do my best to improve the set whenever I find the time.

Feel free to check out the rest of my stuff on OGA :)

Since recently you can also also find me on facebook, twitter and last but not least, the new redesigned website. With DA and Pinterest likely soon to follow. Pick your poison :)

Have fun!

PS. Title font used: Nevis.

Mockup text is ye olde Verdana.

This didn't make the cut? But it's so awesome!

For the record, GIMP 2.8 seems to open this quite nicely. It looks like the layers were preserved (so disabling the background and text is easy), but I didn't see any layers on the UI itself, so anyone using this will have to cut up the pieces manually.

Yeah, I was pretty excited to use this myself, but there's no easy way to expand the parts or move the sliders without some pretty hefty pixel carving. :( anybody have an extra photoshop license lying around so I can see how that smart object works?

Hah, thanks :) This was a bit too cartoony, also the design we use now is just better (or so I hope!). Glad it's useful!

Hmm...I think I'll add the smart object contents as a separate .psd available for download, should make life a lot easier for GIMP users. Update coming soon!

Added the Smart Object contents as a separate .psd as a nod to GIMP users.

Scale them down to 35% size to get the effect as advertised :)

As always - have fun!

Excellent! I'm happy to report that this latest .psd works perfectly in GIMP. I may be using this GUI quite soon.

@Vil0gy

Hey, took a peek at the game, that's some cool stuff! Seing how people use these sets really helps me create art that's actually useful for developers, so this kind of thing really helps :)

I guess I need to add some sort of buttons to this. There's some different stuff coming soon, but will get back here for sure.
