These are pretty neat!  Is there any way you could upload a version without the drop shadow?  I think they could be useful for, say, platformer tiles as well as breakout games.

Sorry. It's just "programmer's art". I made the sprites in GIMP a couple of years ago to promote my programming language (NaaLaa) with a nice game. The xcf files have disappeared, and I've only got these png:s left :(

I would also like to see a simple tile set (without shadows to be supported by older graphics cards and low OpenGL versions).

The shadow-less tiles here are 32x32, with shadow 40x40.
