Here is my High Quality and very customizable Assault Rifle Package. It is based off the popular AK-47 Assault Rifle but you can make so much more. In this package there are Hundreds of combinations you can choose from. Many different Magazines, Stocks, Scopes and all other attachments. This is the Ultimate 32x32 and AK47 Gun Kit.

In all honesty I am a very bad character artist in 2D, and even worse at animating 2D characters. Ive already tried making a few attempts. Ill keep trying until I get it right. Since you said this I think im also going to try to look for a collaboration so we can have a few characters that can use this and all of my future weapons after it. Id also be willing to make a game template if I do get someone to help out with it.
I'd be happy to throw together a prototype of something for you if you'd like. Not much of a artist myself, programmer really :P

Ive been making my textures and assets in free time and ive been pretty swamped with everything else. It would be absolutely amazing if you helped out on that. What im thinking of is a soldier/merc/person able to hold the gun in any combination of parts. Being able to hip fire, aim, bash, reload. And for each part to effect each given stat. Short light barrel, less bash, more hip fire, less accuracy, slightly more bash. Long scope. Superior accuracy, Inferior hip fire. For examples. And maybe the size of magazine effecting reload speed. Are these things you would be able to create in a few months time, even if just a barely working prototype? After I get a character done of course.
I have no time goal on this small template really. Im just estimating it to get done in 6 months maximum.

Sounds great. It not being paid work there is no rush at all. If you feel the need to back out or not finish fully then thats fully respectable.
@Anton. Made a package for the thompson submachine gun if thats usable to you.
Im suprised this pack and my tommy gun pack have been downloaded this many times. definitly eggs me on a bit to make some more.

Thanks for the suggestion and will do. Ill make a package including all parts from m16a1, m16a2 and m16a4. Possibly m14 parts also.
