Hmm what are you trying to accomplish? I have some experience with game maker as well, so it could be that I had the solution by some magical stroke of luck.
Never thought about that side of the Zelda perspective. Personally I think it looks rather stupid and I don't understand why everyone seems to like it so much, but maybe the clarity it gives the player in regards to where the doors are could be part of the reason.
Even though I think the real reason is probably just nostalgia and fondness for the charm of imperfection.
I actually take what I said above back, I thought the storyline was just mindless hate against the modern society and media (which is something I'm really tired of) but with all the greek references I realize that surt was probably referring to the ancient Platonistic question, which is pretty clever indeed!
Changed licence to CC0, it makes no sense that the remix is CC0 if the original isn't.
Ahh yeah the walls of text in a platformer was the same problem I had in my Pony fangame.... never really found a good solution to it.
Looking at the participants right now, who do you think is going to win then?
Vinn.No 0 seems head and shoulders above all of us :P

This looks great, I think it could be used even without making the (stupid) Zelda perspective obvious.

Nice looking graphics, but what a hokey storyline
@MayorofGaming are the dungeons you're planning to make, like, really huge? Then 3 should be plenty.
