Well, it's clearly not in its original form, unless the subpixelled cut edge was done intentionally for effect (though it's not really right, and I feel like it would have been done with more care if it were?)  It might be worth asking on pixeljoint or pixelation.  There's a greater concentration of people with deep knowledge of pixelart there than probably anywhere else.
