Hello all! My wife (she's around here sometimes as laetissima) is writing a fantasy book right now and I'd like some nice concept paintings done that I can give her for Christmas.

I'm willing to pay a total of $100 USD and I'd like to have both characters and landscapes done, though I'm not really sure what concept art of the quality I'm looking for will cost. Naturally, I'd like to get as many pieces as possible for my money as I can. :)

The end product will be licensed under CC-BY-SA and GPL, though I will need to retain the copyright so I can later change those to other licenses on a whim (ie. after some time I will probably want to re-release under public domain).

If I'm happy with the results, I'll come back for a round 2 early next year if the artist is game.
