Open source game services by FreeGameDev.net
Most people here are probably already aware, but our community over at freegamedev.net is offering all kinds of support for new (and old) open source game projects.
So instead of setting up and managing a forum etc yourself, join us and concentrate on making your game better :)
Traditionally we have been hosting forums for projects such as SuperTuxKart but recently we also added a few new services:
A gitea code hosting instance: https://git.freegamedev.net
A really cool Mattermost teamchat with devops functionality and bridges to other chat services (IRC, Discord, XMPP etc.) At https://chat.freegamedev.net
A federated microblogging instance at https://social.freegamedev.net (includes open source games planets and federates with Mastodon)
And some other cool stuff in the pipeline.
All without ads, volunteer driven and committed to using only FOSS tools.
Let us know if we can set up something for your project (needs to be open source) :)
Oh, wow, that's just awesome. Sadly I'm on way too many social networks already, but if something happens to one of the others, FreeGameDev.net might just be a place for me. Good work setting up all that!
That is why these federate and bridge :) If you are on Discord for example you can interact with our Mattermost chat through a bridge, and any ActivityPub compatible service will work fine together with Hubzilla. Hopefully there will also be a cross bridge soon.

I have both Mastodon and Discord, but no friends on your network. Yet. :) Was thinking more in the way of alternatives.
For starters you can join us on Discord https://discord.gg/efrDNG
And you can follow me on mastodon povoq@social.freegamedev.net

Completely forgot I posted here :)
We now also have a Trello like Kanban board at https://kanboard.freegamedev.net
You can also soon get your own XMPP account from us (1) and I am in the process of setting up a really cool Discord - IRC - XMPP hybrid chat (But we will probably retire Mattermost after that).
(1) if one of the OGA admins would point xmpp.opengameart.org to our VPS, we can also offer such XMPP accounts.
