This is the fruit of the most basic Substance Designer tutorial, which I did today. Because just about anyone can do it, feel free to have it.

Includes 4k textures and a SBSAR Substance file which can be used in Substance Painter, Unreal Engine and Unity. It has sliders for rust.

File(s):
RustyMetalSBSAR.zip RustyMetalSBSAR.zip 16.8 Kb [95 download(s)]
RustyMetalPattern.zip RustyMetalPattern.zip 120.4 Mb [108 download(s)]

It's a fantastic design!

The texture tiles horribly because of the dirt which gives an obviously visible pattern, hardly usable that way.

You can change the seed of the substance file if you're using that. If not, well I never promised anything.

I thought if you submit something to here, it should at least be usable in some way and no I'm not using substance designer, it is nice proprietary software.

I think "hardly usable" is overly picky. It has plenty of utility. True, it would be better if there were a more randomized set of rust patterns, but please find a less abrasive way to request improvements. Criticsm should constructive criticsm, not just a list of things you don't like.

I appreciate the contributions (both of) you have made, but the "I demand a refund!" attitude doesn't make sense on a free-asset-site powered entirely by the generosity of its users.

All you would need to do is view the texture tiling a few times, then the problem would become obvious to you, I don't make demands, I'm just pointing out the obvious problem with this.

I don't disagree with you about the problem, but you are being a jerk about it. Besides, this person is more than likely a beginner. You should encourage people so that they want to get better instead of trying to make them quit altogether.

So telling people about reality is being a jerk? I said what is wrong and encouraged him to make it better, I see no problem here.

Look can you people just let it go already

If you use the Substance plugin in Unity, you can change the pattern to your taste using the SBSAR file.

If you don't want to do that, then find some other texture if this is no good for you.

I am unsubbing from these comments now.
