For some reason the admins keep taking my content down, so here's the direct steam link so it's still available for you:
[]

This is a pack of 250 Female and 250 Male non-chibi RPG Maker MV Characters. They are "warriors" so they are in armor basically.

I can't stand the Chibi characters and thought the community needed a massive infusion of the non-chibi style. They are randomly generated so some of them look jacked up... But it's a good pack to get you started.

I used Game Character Hub to make the characters...and then I got all the looseleaf character parts like armor and $hit...and then I found a function in the app for the first time called "Randomly generate characters" and specified for it to use the looseleaf parts..and then it looked mostly ok except a few of them missing bodies.

Original character parts obtained from MACK's Looseleaf character Generator. Attribution of the original pieces (hairs, accessories, clothing pieces, etc goes to MACK..Thank You Mack):

http://www.geocities.jp/kurororo4/looseleaf/

I made these using the program Game Character Hub to generate them. Getting Game Character Hub on steam also comes with all the looseleaf parts as a Steam Workshop item...But there's also a catch...

The sizes for the Looseleaf generator is for RPG Maker VX (which has lower resolution than MV)...So I also had to do the step of using batch image manipulation (GIMP/BIMP) and resized all of them to 150% of their normal size...I told the program to use nearest neighbor for the enlargement and they ended up looking like normal pixelated sprites. Yay!

Also since the Looseleaf generator was originally designed for RPG Maker XP, it's grid size is 4 columns and 4 rows...But RPG Maker VX Ace and RPG Maker MV have 3 columns and 4 rows...So I also had to go into GIMP/BIMP (batch image manipulation) and then cut off 25% of the width (1 column)

Also had to use an app called "Advanced Re-namer" to rename all the files in bulk fashion to have the $ sign before the name so that they would fit the right size inside the RPG Maker MV app.

Hah writing this all out makes it sound more complicated then it felt when I did it. Long story short it was a lot faster to do a ton at a time then to do them one at a time.

The MACK/Looseleaf license is incompabile with any OGA-accepted license. It is a custom license with additional conditions not present in CC0, CC-BY, OGA-BY, CC-BY SA, GPL, nor LGPL, and therefore cannot be hosted here under those licenses. Furthermore, distributing the derivatives in the package above violates the MACK/Looseleaf license. Specifically, the term that says:

(translated from Japanese) <...however, regardless of it being commercial or free, it is expressly forbidden to package and distribute just the resources in such collections as "resource packs" and so forth. These resources may only be distributed inside a game.>

That section is under commercial use...It's not valid to SELL a collection, nice job selectively leaving out part of the translation. You really have it in for me here I guess. You don't need to be such a copyright Nazi.

I see that a lot of the content that you've posted has a lot of restricted license terms...No wonder you try to shove it down other people's throats...I'm just trying to share and I'm within the bounds of Mack's license and I don't want any credit for myself..Just want people to have an easier time making a game, but it's harder with jerks like you in the way.

Incorrect. Please reread the term.

Ok I went and read it again...and this is what it said.
LooseLeaf License translated from Japanese

As you can see, the part where it's mentioned as a collection is under the section called "About Commercial Use" and it says that "Please go and sell as a game piece only". Yes I only plan to sell my finished game, not the parts used to make the game...I am open sourcing all of that.

Also because the licensing is not a real or official license and is vague, it's not a valid license, even though within the terms of Mack I have not violated anything. I want no credit in this, only to share resources to make things easier for other RPG Makers because content is soooo sparse and people upload one character at a time over the course of months. Need to really crank it into overdrive.

But it's ok if you don't want to host it here. I just want to use your site as a conduit to get people to the Steam page though, so that way they can still get their characters, but you're not liable in any way...This can be a win win situation.

Even that garbage translation says "...regardless of the fee free of charge, distributed in the form collected material Collection material alone, we have banned." or, in other words, "regardless of it being commercial or free, it is expressly forbidden to package and distribute just the resources in such collections as "resource packs" and so forth."

As for this:

"I just want to use your site as a conduit to get people to the Steam page though, so that way they can still get their characters"

You will recall I warned you about that:

"However, if you decide to abuse this site's purpose and use this thread as a springboard for launching assets that are in violation of this site's policies, I'll have to disable those links and lock the thread. If, after that, you continue to skirt the rules of the site out of spite, I'll have to ban you."
