Freedoom Mod: Technoman 3D
Assets for a Metroid/Megaman-like remade for the Boom/ZDoom family of game engines.

This collection is in need of visually-consistent floor and wall textures. Patterns should be less gritty/realistic than Doom and Heretic. Maybe not as cartoonish as Megaman, so probably right around the Metroid (NES) style. Small repeating patterns are great.
Also needed: projectiles, enemies, music, sound effects. Since 8-directional sprites are hard to come by, favor sprites that look okay billboarding. Monster infighting can be turned off using a dehacked patch so its reasonable to use *some* sprites that will only ever face player. Same goes for projectiles (energy balls are easy).
OpenGameArt.org can automatically generate a single credits file for all of the art in this collection. Please note that, while we tried our best, this file is in no way guaranteed to be accurate, and properly attributing the work you distribute with your project remains your responsibility. You'll want to load up this file in a text editor, check to make sure everything looks good (and that any special attribution instructions are followed), and then delete the notice at the top of the file, as the notice is designed to make you look very silly if you don't check over the file and remove it.
