My entry into the "Heavens" Art Challenge is a brand new planet!

Before Persephone, there was Ceres, the first living planet of the Persephone-1 system. It was where the Persephonians, then called the Ceresians, began their life thousands of years ago. According to ancient legends and scientific evidence going back millions of years in the planets history, there were three moons, which had precarious orbits. In a cataclysmic event during the prehistoric era, the moons collided, forming both the ring system and the single moon orbiting today, known as Moirai.

When space travel and colonization became standard things, many people left the planet of Ceres and terraformed Persephone-1 and began terraforming Desolaris. Unfortunately, war broke out on Ceres in the mean time, which ultimately lead to Ceres' loss of habitability. With its atmosphere choked with poison fumes from biological, nuclear, and chemical warfare, the astronauts that once called the planet home can never go back. Thus, the Persephonians were born.

This pack includes Ceres before its corruption and after, along with a bonus: Moirai, its legendary moon. It also contains an RPG-Maker ready sprite sheet.
