we needed to replace some bears at stendhal, so I made a few. hope you like them.  I got the side veiw of them here https://opengameart.org/content/animated-wild-animals  the front and back view I made myself.  

had to flip the bears, I had them moon-walking :)

Good Job! Thank you for linking the original asset. 

I'm not sure how this works. I think derivative must be licensed same as the original work, or maybe it's different in case of public domain?

With CC0/public domain, the license on derivative works can be changed to anything. For other licenses, it has to be a compatible license. For example, OGA BY -> CC BY -> CC BY-SA is fine. But CC BY-SA -> CC BY -> OGA BY is not okay.

Edit: Remember, using CC0 relinquishes all of your rights to the work & dedicates it to the public domain.
