Inside the files below are both male and female verisons of varying ages.
A friend and I were making a portrait gen tool. We didn't finish it (no dark skins, no wild hair colors, etc), but here are 200 random results from it. Feel free to use them in whatever you want! Go make some games!
Also I made a paypal.me for anyone who wants to tip for these assets I'm giving away, but don't feel obligated by any means. It's more important that cool indie games get made! We gotta stick together!
I included below a .png (lossless, 30 megs) and a decent .jpg(8 megs) that is a much smaller file.

Incredible! Have you and your friend considered posting the source code for the generator somewhere under an open licence, so others could have a crack at adding the missing elements?

Hey Hyptosis, is there any way you would grant access to the base character templates/resources you used to generate these? I'm looking at coding a sort of roguelike/Crusader Kings hybrid and something like this would be PERFECT, but it would be 1000x better if I could actually generate from the templates rather than having a collection of already-generated presets.

PS. Got to second that we'd be delighted to as well see the source images these are generated from.
I share the general puzzlement that those backgrounds haven't been made available separately, as some of them are of very high quality.
ElizaWy has attempted to extract and repair some of them, so check her submissions if you land here by another route.
Similar goes for the character components. Why not release those?
I'm also working on recreating and expanding this character pack! Most of it needs to be redrawn, but it's in the same style / coloring as this set.
