My interpretation of a grue. If you do not know what a Grue is, then your deprived.
I wasn't exactly sure which version was the best so I'm going to upload all of them. I think I prefer the bloody without the grin though.
Includes:
-Standard
-Standard with a grin
-Bloody
-Bloody with a grin
Not sure if I need to mention but, I started with the hood from the ghost in this by RedShrike.
But It was more of an inspiration if anything, I barely used it.
UPDATE 1: Added different facing directions.

Looks good!
And yes I have been eaten by grues many times in my adventures :)
The Grues are alive!
Check out the Grue in my game =)

Thanks for the awesome sprite! =)
I did not justify the Grue in the previous video.
I've re-written my project from scratch and the grue never felt so terrifying! Check it out!

Skip to 4:52 for the epic battle against the Grue!
The art located here was utilized for our Android game Riding Rhodri. There is also a lite version located here if you would like to give it a shot. Thank you for the hard work you put into your art so that we could make our game look that much better!
Simply calling it a Grue probably helped a lot, but I like the look of it. I used it as one of the monsters in the first level of my game 42's Orb of Valhalla.
This is a really awesome enemy! I wonder if you'd be willing to animate this in LPC style? If so drop me a line, I'd be interested to talk more about it. Thanks.
@William.Thompsonj
-- I'd be willing to give it a shot. It might be awhile though, I just got back into school.
@ministeve412 @HappyEngineer @vestrel00
-- I appreciate you guys utilizing my artwork. With any luck I can make it better for the LPC version!
I understand the stressors of school, I'm taking two senior classes at the moment.
Thank you, in the mean time if anyone would like to take a stab at re-creating this in the LPC style you have my permission to do so.
Ugh, school takes so much time. It consumes my very existence! I still think this would be awesome as an LPC style enemy. It's already mostly there, it just needs to face up, down, and have a death animation and it would work.
Sorry for taking so long. I'd forgotten I had promised to update it. I don't know much about LPC style, but I redrew it facing different directions as promised.
That looks great. It's quite useful even the way it is now. In case you're curious about LPC stuff here's a link to the LPC style guide, assets, and HTML5 demo page:

you're* deprived
@Albert Kal: Yes, because that is important. I should delete my contribution to this fantastic community in shame for my grammar mistake.
Feel my sarcasm; relish in it as I do. But most importantly, know that I do not care in the slightest.
Edit: Convienient timing by the way. Perhaps in a programming class? No?
Maybe not important, but showing lacking linguistic skills in your criticism of other people's linguistic skills is just too funny and ironic to ignore. I do hope you are being sarcastic about deleting your contribution in shame because it is very cool, that is why i looked at it.
It is clear to see in your response how little you care, I see that now.
convenient* hehe
Nicely done!
I'm thinking of using it in a commercial project (a game).
I'll attribute as instructed.
Best regards!
