I soon will have some free time to try to improve the websites layout. And I would like you hear from you guys if there is something or feature that really drives you crazy and you would like to see it changed or something you would like to see added.

Things I want to change:

• Small button layout changes – i.e search button actually next to the search bar and adding a freaking submit instead ‘save’ button when making a post.
• More LPC love!
- LPC listed under browse button
- Dedicated LPC area that will display categories such as tiletsets, characters, clothing/armor, hair, objects, weapons, etc.
- LPC area that would actually display all LPC assets, no more forum hunting!
• Adding display amount of search results button to the top right and bottom of the page rather than looking in the search box on the left
• Adding a ‘My favorites’ button to the menu bar
• Adding a ‘site works’ feature, it would work like favorites but you can create a project name and add authors to it, so you can easily keep track of the assets you are using in your project .

Probably I will add more when I am working on it, but these are just the ones that come to mind. If you guys have any input you would like to add, I would love to hear it!

P.S.How many of these changes will actually happen is yet to be seen, so ;D

  • Allow images in forums to spill over the edge of the post without having to hover.
  • Forum thread page navigation at top of thread as well as bottom.
  • Remove "Your Medals" from the front page. Surely the user profile page is sufficient.

Maybe you could fix the text formatting?

  • bold
  • italic
  • underlined
  • strikethrough

On my machine only bold and italic seem to have an effect.

EDIT: It seems like there isn't a problem with the style sheet, but rather with the code that escapes the HTML, because the <u> and <s> tags show up in the editor, but not in the comment itself.

  • Thumnails on a challenge page are sized 120x120 instead of the usual 100x100 causing ugly interpolation on pixel-sharp thumbs.
  • Also on the challenge page individual entries could really be compacted a lot. I'd either allow multiple entries per row or shorten entries by including title, "by" and submitter on the one line and/or bringing the thumbnail up beside the text. Do entires really need an extra block of description text beyond the normal one and does it really need to be displayed on the challenge page?
  • White space in general could do with a look at lots of considerable margins combined with excesive nesting eats up a lot of space.

I would appreciate a PM system.

The artist should be more important than the contributor.  If someone else posted some of my resources it wouldn't show up as my art, and I wouldn't get points for it if someone liked it.

In a simillar vein: a clear seperation of "Art by Me" and "Art by others, submitted by Me".

I'm uncomfortable with the thought that if I submit something that isn't mine, that a casual viewer may think that it is mine ("Art by Surt").
