The Procedural Death Jam is dear to me as happened a few weeks after I'd found the site, was the motivator that really got me to properly hunt through the site and discover what a treasure trove of art the site really is.
Ever since, this has become one of my staple must visit sites each day.
But, alas, I must agree with you - the old competitions should be archived - heck, all competitions should be in their own sub section.
You are spoiling me - thank you for this awesomeness! ^_^
Okay, just checking: top left is dark, top right is light, bottom left is spirit, and bottom right is air - am I right?
The bottom left is exceptionally interesting: with the light and dark figures, I get an impression of yin yang as well. Hmmm... that opens possibilities...
I'll add these into my game tonight ^_^
I have a few more potential ideas: horror (lovecraft inspired?), tree/plant, beast and magic
There is a lot of art that I'm putting together for this at the moment, espcially the UI, but I've attached a screenshot of my WIP.
I have a few elements defined: water, fire, earth, lightning, air, dark and light. The dark and light versions I'll snap up. The only thing missing right now then is air.
Also, if you can put in a basic animation - just a single alt frame would do - but more frames, even better! ^_^
The idea is for the game to be expandable via sigils that you draw - multiple sigils create a spell, so a combination of elements is needed for spells with a varity of effects. A poison ball is probably a combination of dark and water, a heal spell, light and air.
Essentially, the more elements available, the more possible spell combinations I can make, and for "mastering" an element will require to face the elements themselves - now possible thanks to your efforts!
These look amazing - and they actually fit in with a game that I'm working on at the moment. Once I get a the next section made, I'll show what I have so far - and these are going to be the bosses for each level ^_^
I don't suppose you could find some inspiration at some point in making more elemental beings?
This looks great!
Is there any chance of getting the foreground and background split?
Any chance of a version with a transparent background?
I don't think there is anything here - I've done a search for "head" as well as "health" and gone through every page.
Oh well, not to worry, I'll do something that isn't a head.

Terrific! These are just fantastic! ^_^
If I think of some more, I'll let you know!

The website in your attribution doesn't work for me - does the website address need to be updated before I can use these?
