The new challenge theme is espionage. Have fun!
Sucks your brain. Then projects the content to its master thru its eye. Unfortunately it kills you. Cruel but effective.
Well, I wasn't originally happy with these, but seeing as there's so few entries for this, I figured I might as well. This is an 8-bit styled tileset inspired by Mountain Base, a level from one of my work in progress games. I tried to restrict my color choices to the real NES palette, if that counts for anything...
Good luck to the other entrants (at time of writing, read entrant), and may the best artwork win!
So I thought to breathe some life into the art challenge, altough this topic was difficult, but then I had the idea to make some of these spy drones, but then i thought this is a little bit boring and added some heavy weapons, hope it still fits the theme enough. ;)

Not a very sucessful challenge, i remember this theme was done before, that may be the cause.
Maybe the problem is that it is just that: a theme, rather than a challenge. As with most other OGA challenges there are no technical requirements and no constraints to work within.
I have no idea what to do about it. A blank page? :)
Maybe you should star giving badges again for participating into this challenges
@Danimal: I was under the impression that the new Art Challenge code automatically hands out medals to the winners, but it doesn't seem so. I'll have to check whether I can manually add medals (but I think I don't have the necessary permissions). Anyway, since the medals currently aren't shown on the forums anyway, this seems less urgent.
@surt: Maybe you're right. The problem, however, is that specific technical requirements tend to limit the kind of art that can be submitted, e.g. to pixel art, and exclude others. That might lead to even lower participation rates. I'll see what I can do.
